Qarls Texture Packs III is another mod that promises awesome improvement to your game. Like all of the other mods this one is created by a very active member of the loosely organized Bethesda Softworks team, but unlike many other mods this one is made by a professional gamer with the know-how to get things done right. For those who know what they are doing this is the best mod you can download. For others who are not so good with modding or even worse, with the technical side of things, this may be a big disappointment. But we will begin by talking about what this mod has to offer.

The main difference between this texture pack and the previous ones made by Qarls is that it is made for the older versions of the game (for the original version of Tribunal and Bloodmoon). This means that the details and colors have been improved and are a lot more detailed than the old ones. The other difference it has with the older texture packs is that the new version is 4 times bigger than the one for the older versions of the game. This means that it is made specifically for the game of Tribunal, and not for Bloodmoon or the expansions. And speaking of expansions, the new texture pack includes several new areas for your character to explore, as well as overhauling the dungeons and zones in the game as well.

There is also a version available for fans of The Lord of the Rings Online. While this may seem like a strange combination, it is made possible by the fact that the two games use some similar models and art styles. In fact, many of the features you will find in the Tollethyn area of the game (in particular the Shire) were present in the draft of the novel. The good news is that while this might not be something you would want to play, the base game's Shire and Undermountain areas are included in the download version, so you get to enjoy them as well.
